Dick Rabil, founder and President of SLICE, is a well-known and respected leader in the greater Washington D.C. design industry. Dick recently received the American Marketing Association DC Chapter’s President’s Award for work SLICE did for the AMA.
Dick’s design philosophy is that the best design is driven by ideas that often break convention. With that in mind, he and his wife, Kathi, have built an innovative design team that blends traditional design with fresh and persuasive trends.
The roots of Dick’s career are deeply imbedded in higher education. His first job was with CASE, (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education). Later, he created an agency that also serves other higher education associations, such as NAICU (National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities), and higher education institutions, and a variety of associations and governmental agencies and high tech companies.
